API overview

ZeroToken is compatible with several vendors' API protocols. Keep the SDK you know and change only the base URL and API key.

/v1/responses, /v1/models and /v1/messages/count_tokens are also available without the /v1 prefix.

Protocols and models

Every chat endpoint can reach models from any vendor: use Chat Completions with Claude, or Messages with DeepSeek. The gateway converts requests and responses between protocols. Some endpoints (embeddings, image generation) are limited to specific platform groups — see each page.

Conventions

Requests and responses are JSON (upload endpoints such as image edits use multipart/form-data); See Authentication for credentials; See Errors for the error format and codes; Every response carries an X-Client-Request-ID header — include it when reporting a problem.
