ZeroToken bills everything per token: each request is charged by its actual input, output and cached tokens multiplied by the matching prices (image and video models are charged per request). There is no platform fee on top-ups — the full amount you add goes to your balance — and no monthly charge or minimum spend.
Per-token prices are set in one of two ways, chosen by the site administrator. The active method and every model's price are shown on the pricing page.
Method 1: official list price
Model prices match the upstream vendor's official prices, with no markup; Best when you want prices identical to the vendor's and easy cost accounting.
Method 2: group multipliers
Model price = official price × group multiplier; Different groups can have different multipliers — for example a high-availability group may cost more and an economy group less.
Prices shown in the model catalog are already this site's actual selling prices, so no conversion is needed.
What is billed
Prices are quoted in USD per million tokens.
Free models
The site may offer some free models. Free models have their own rate limits, as noted in the model catalog.
No charge for failures
Only requests that return successfully are billed. Failed upstream attempts that were retried automatically are not.
