Codex CLI
Codex CLI uses the OpenAI Responses API. Add a custom provider to its configuration file.
The Use Key button on the API Keys page generates a complete config.toml for the key — copying it is the easiest option.
Configuration
Edit ~/.codex/config.toml (%USERPROFILE%\.codex\config.toml on Windows):
Then set the environment variable and start Codex:

wire_api must be responses; If the key belongs to a composite group or a Chinese-model group, you can set model to one of those model IDs.
